Today, March 4, our team members are dressed in blue to raise awareness for Colorectal Cancer, the second-leading cause of cancer-related deaths in men and women, and also one of the most preventable types of cancer. Cases are on the rise in younger adults and early detection saves lives!

For those at average risk, you should begin screening as early as 45; however, please talk with your provider about family history, genetic disorders, or other conditions and do not delay in scheduling an appointment if you have any concerns.

This weekend, the DCMH team came together for an evening of appreciation, recognizing the dedication and teamwork that drive the care we provide to our community.

The evening featured award recognitions, games, door prizes, live music, and a catered dinner shared among colleagues and friends.

Among recognitions included the "Ultimate STAR" winner, given to an employee who exemplifies DCMH's mission and was a previous STAR winner in the last two years. Abby Crowe, RN, was awarded the distinction!

Though many team members were working, they were still included in the grand prize drawing and also received a catered meal. We are grateful for every member of our team.
