The Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home is owned by Sharon Curry McKinney, a native of Laurel County, Kentucky, and former employee and co-owner of Laurel Funeral Home in London, Kentucky. She moved to Green County in 1999 when she married Harold Curry, a Green County horse farm owner and trainer and competitor in horse show events. Sharon commuted to her employment in London until February of 2000 when she and her husband purchased the former Warren F. Harold passed away in August of 2005 and Sharon has continued with the operation of the funeral home with the assistance of Dale Houk and Danielle Jeffries-Lee both licensed embalmers and funeral directors and Doris Shofner and Kobie T. Wood, licensed funeral directors. Her husband Robert McKinney whom she married in 2014 and her staff Jared Kelly, Jerry Arnett, and Summer Sebastian. The funeral home was originally a private residence built in 1819 and occupied by: Pal Joe Taylor and his wife and Bob Moss and his wife. It was purchased by Joe and Louise Foster who operated it as a funeral home. At some point Joe and Peggy Jones became partners and it was known as the Foster-Jones Funeral Home. Poor health caused Joe Foster (who at the time was the sole owner) to sell the funeral home to Warren F. Toler who re-named it the Foster-Toler Funeral Home and then just Warren F. During his tenure, Warren Toler added a funeral chapel, an extra entry and hallway. Today the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with an apartment and garage, is a well-known facility in Greensburg with a motto of "People You Trust Caring For People You Love."

Tom Davis

Tom Davis was born March 29, 1959 in Barren County, KY to the late Joe Davis and Rowena Mae Lindsey Davis. He passed away Monday, March 2, 2026 at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, having attained the age of sixty-six years, eleven months and four days.

Tom had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was always giving and helping others, never hesitating to lend a hand to anyone in need. Family was the center of his life, and he took great pride in his farm, “Double ‘D” Ranch, which he loved deeply. He retired from Tel-Tech after years of dedicated service, operated Circle Music alongside his father and his brother, and worked as a heavy equipment operator. A true pioneer of c**n hunting, he was a proud member of the Green County C**n Hunters Club and raised World Championship c**n dogs. His strong work ethic, generous spirit, and deep love for family and community defined the life he lived.

He was united in marriage to Connie Jo Curry Davis, who preceded him in death December 26, 2013. He was also preceded in death by one grandchild: Kacen Beckner, one brother: Jeff Davis and one sister: Sissy Davis.

He is survived by his children: Daniel Davis and his wife Serina, Mikey Davis and his wife Kat, Angela Mitchell and her husband Troy, Jeremiah Davis, Zanden Burgess and Jasmine Davis, all of Greensburg, Ed Soto and his wife Brandi of Florida and Kyleigh Beckner of Campbellsville, two sisters: Sherry Davis of Greensburg, Jean Cheatham of Hodgenville, two brothers: PeeWee Davis and his wife Mary Lee and Joey Davis and his wife Tammy of Greensburg, grandchildren: Olivia, Thomas, Dawsen, Devon, Cody, Zoey and Lainey, great grandchildren: Carson, Ariel, Landon, Liam, Lily-Ann, Raelynn and Katelyn, special friends: Carla Perkins and Kimberly Beckner, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Tom Davis will be 2 pm Central Time Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Cliffton Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in the Double “D” Ranch Cemetery in the Grab Community of Green County.

Visitation will be 5 pm until 8 pm Central Time Saturday and after 7 am Central Time Sunday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.

Michael John Simpson

Michael John Simpson was born on February 28, 1962, to the late Kathleen Florence and John Dean Simpson in Mobile, Alabama. He spent most of his childhood and adult life with his family in Tampa, Florida. He departed from this life on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at his home in Sulphur Well, Kentucky.

Michael spent more than twenty years as a City Carrier for the US Postal Service. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mike was a brilliant artist - a master with an airbrush, a painter, drawer, writer, graphic designer, woodworker, and more. He was an avid longboarder, loved being in his workshop, made people laugh with his quick-witted one-liners, and was always thinking about his next project. He loved wildlife, especially feeding his hummingbirds. Michael was an encyclopedia of rock bands.

He has now been called home to his wife: Shelia; his parents, his older brother: Graham; his daughter: Maeghan Jae, and his brother-in-law: George Hobson.

He is survived by his son: Sean and his wife Rachael; grandchildren: Genevieve Shavon, Jeremiah Kai, and Jasmine Abigail Simpson; brothers and sisters: Frankie Stapleton of Hawaii, Lyman Shephard of Tampa Florida, Janet L. Hobson of Tampa Florida, Diane Kenyon of Sulphur Well, Stewart Sheperd of Hawaii, Sherrie Lieski of Warner Robbins, Georgia, and Marianne Rafferty of Interlachen, Florida; nephews: Tommy, Jeremy, Trevor, Jesse and Brian; nieces: Shelley, and Jade; nine great nieces and nephews; plus many other relatives and friends. His unique, one-of-a-kind soul will be terribly missed and never forgotten. May we all know love in this sorrow, comfort in this pain, and mercy in this grief.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 12-2PM at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home. A short graveside service will be held before he is laid to rest at the Kenyon Family Cemetery.

Richard Tyra Puckett was born July 18, 1952, in Louisville to the late Calvin and Doris Evelyn Boyd Puckett. He departed this life Saturday, February 21, 2026, at his home in Metcalfe County having attained the age of seventy-three years, seven months and three days of age.

He was a Christian and a United States Navy Veteran. He was an outdoorsman and loved fishing. He also had a love for horses, two special ones named Leroy and Ginger and he loved motorcycles. He also had a special dachshund dog named Paisley.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister: Geraldine Wilson.

Survivors include his wife: Mary Puckett of Metcalfe County; three children: Richard Tyra Puckett JR and his wife Lauren of Richmond, Jeffrey Boyd Puckett and his wife Cheryl of Loveland Colorado, and Alecia Nicole Price of Mobile, Alabama; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Archie Graham Curry was born December 31, 1943, in Green County, Kentucky to the late Cecil Thomas Curry and Helen Davenport Curry. He departed this life Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY, having attained the age of eighty-two years, one month and eleven days.

He was a truck driver. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter: Rhonda Curry Davis, one brother: Thomas Curry and one sister: Lois Ross.

He is survived by two sons: Michael Curry and his wife Justina of Greensburg and Timothy Curry of Indianapolis, Indiana, two daughters: Rita Estes of Campbellsville and Rebecca Arnett of Greensburg, one brother: Dennis Curry of Glasgow, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Lawrence Edward Walsh was the son of the late William and Lena Smith Walsh. He was born in Taylor County, KY on February 9, 1946, and departed this life on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Robley Rex VAMC in Louisville, having attained the age of seventy-nine years, eleven months and six days of age.

He made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Campbellsville. He was a member of the SAC Elite Guard Association, and enjoyed farming, hiking, hunting and traveling.

He was a United States AirForce Veteran having served from 1964 through 1967. He had a Master’s Degree and was a retired Police Chief of Lexington..

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a son-in-law: Randy Pridemore; a brother: Robert Walsh; and a sister: Pat Blakeman.

He loved the Lord and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. He loved his family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, loved muscles cars, drag racing and the Green Bay Packers. He retired from Heat & Frost Insulator in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and loved working in the Mechanic – Body Shop restoring muscle cars.

William Thompson Earle

William “Squirrel” Thompson Earle, 71, of Jennings, Louisiana, was born on September 17, 1954, to Beverly and John Edward Earle. He departed this life on January 10, 2026.

William made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and was a devoted Pentecostal Christian.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Earle; his father, John Edward Earle; and his brother, John Earle.

He is survived by his beloved son, Jacob Andrew Davis, and daughter-in-law, Jessica Davis; and his six cherished grandchildren: Izzy, Will, Aubrey, Allie, Morgan, and Montgomery. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, who affectionately knew him as “WeWe.”

William was a carpenter by trade and proudly built many projects throughout southeast Louisiana. He was an adventurous outdoorsman who deeply loved nature and carried a true Cajun spirit. He was an excellent cook, especially known for his Cajun dishes.

William was the second of seven children. His surviving siblings include Christine, Gail, Roxie, Mona and Jo Ann.

Above all, William loved his family. He loved big, laughed often, and lived proudly as a father and Paw PawWilliam was the second of seven children. His surviving siblings include Christine, Gail, Roxie, Mona and Jo Ann.. He was deeply proud of Jacob, Jessica, and his grandchildren, and he never missed an opportunity to brag about them or speak of them with joy.

William “Squirrel” Earle will be remembered for his strong faith, hardworking hands, generous heart, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on through those he loved and those who loved him.

Funeral Service for William “Squirrell” Thompson Earle will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Foster-Toler Curry Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Davis Family Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Cliffton Sullivan.

The family has requested visitation on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 5PM-8PM central time at Foster-Toler Curry Funeral Home and after 7AM on Saturday until time of the service.

James Mann Thornton

James “Mann” Thornton was the son of the late Horace Buck and Icy Pearl Richardson Thornton. He was born in Green County June 4, 1934, and departed this life, Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Green River Trails Nursing Facility, having attained the age of ninety-one years, seven months and seven days.

He accepted the Lord at an early age and was a member of Jacob Grove Baptist Church where he loved to sing and He served as deacon and building fund treasurer until his illness. For many years, he was a truck driver and later started work with Tennessee Gas where he retired. He was a member of the Greensburg, Green County League of Citizens, where he served as Sergeant at Arms and received the Good Neighbor Award. He also served as Green County Constable. In his spare time, he loved hunting and fishing.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson and granddaughter: Gavin Keith Thornton and Chanda Elyse Calhoun; two brothers and three sisters: Hobert Thornton, Aurthur Thornton, Margie Mitchell, Dorothy Thornton and Mary Lou Miller.

He is survived by his wife: Alberta Atkinson Thornton being wed in 1965. To this union were born, two children: Elmira Mills and her husband Kelvin and Greg Thornton and his wife Quinn of Greensburg. Other children: Garry Thornton of Bowling Green, Damita Thornton Scott of Louisville, KY, Donnie “Squirrel” Williams of Greensburg, Kay Calhoun of Campbellsville, Cheryl Lynn Burton and her husband Don of Indianapolis, IN; eighteen grandchildren: Ty, Jamyelle, Tyron, Tyress, Trent, Shae, Robin, Blake, Lauren, Corey, Casey, Ciera, Johnathan, Tori, Quinton, Jeron, Ali, and Erika; one choice granddaughter: Candy Thornton; a host of great grandchildren; a sister; Nora Thornton of Indianapolis, IN: brother in law: Danny R Curry of Campbellsville; plus a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mann raised several of his grandchildren and great grandchildren: Corey, Casey, Ciera, Massiah, and Makyla.

Funeral Service for James “Mann” Thornton will be held Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 12 Noon Central Time at Foster-Toler Curry Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Mills and Rev. Josh Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville. The family has requested visitation Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 5PM until 8PM central time and after 7AM on Thursday until time of the service.
