I’m honored to share that tonight I will be featured on the Times Square digital billboard in New York City as part of The First Call, a national public service campaign supported by the National Funeral Directors Association.

Funeral directors from across the country will be recognized during a 15-minute Times Square billboard takeover—an initiative designed to highlight the compassion, professionalism, and humanity that define our profession.

As part of this campaign, I was asked to answer a few questions and submit photos that reflect who I am beyond my role. I chose one of our family at Disney and another of me cooking—two things that mean a great deal to me and help show a more personal side.

This campaign is expected to be one of the largest PSA-style efforts focused on funeral service in the last 30 years. Its goal is simple but important: to help reshape how the public sees funeral service and the people who are called to serve in life’s most difficult moments.

This national moment shines a light on those who guide families through loss, show up in life’s hardest hours, and help communities honor the lives of those they love. Much of this work is done quietly, without recognition—but tonight is a reminder of the care, compassion, and responsibility carried by funeral directors every day.
