Thanks to a nifty device called a Lovebox from her granddaughter, resident Shirley Dively receives photos and messages from family with a simple spin of a red heart. Connecting across states, this little device keeps smiles, hearts, and even waterfalls flowing between Shirley and her loved ones every day. 💕

We've had a blast celebrating the upcoming Highlands Fling Las Vegas with our residents 💃⭐️🎲🎰

Vegas-style cabarets took place on each campus! Kelli Hindman, Redstone@Home’s Manager of Performance Improvement & Education, took the stage at the Murrysville campus, while Drew DeCrease, Redstone’s Murrysville campus chaplain, performed at the North Huntingdon campus. Over in Greensburg, residents enjoyed a show-stopping performance by John Noble from “…Almost Sinatra", part of the ensemble providing live music at this year's Fling. Residents also indulged in a Vegas-themed cake and fall punch. Proceeds from our cabarets benefitted Benevolent Care at Redstone!

At 83, resident Lynne Geiselman is back at her knitting, creating colorful hats for the homeless, gifts for newborns, and warm surprises for her neighbors. With help from her daughter and a clever knitting device, she’s proving it’s never too late to make a difference—one stitch at a time. 🧵

We would like to invite people with Parkinson’s, loved ones, and caregivers to join us at the Redstone Parkinson’s Support Groups. Our groups are open to anyone in the Redstone community and to the general public who have been impacted by Parkinson’s Disease. We meet each month in a safe space where people can speak their minds, compare notes with peers, and meet movement disorder experts who can help your quality of life while living with Parkinson’s. Please see group details below. We hope you will join us for fellowship and support in your walk with Parkinson’s!

There will be a "Meet our New CEO and Senior Leadership Team" event for current North Huntingdon residents and their adult family members, this Thursday evening at 6:30 pm in the Veranda Dining Room. Redstone's senior leaders will take part in a panel discussion about Redstone's future and there will be time for questions and answers. Residents originally received an invitation in their September billing statement, but last minute reservations are being accepted. Dessert will be served, too. If you would like to attend, please let the housing assistant on duty in North Huntingdon know by 4 pm on Tuesday, September 30th. We would love to see you there! Events are scheduled for the Murrysville and Greensburg campuses in November and December. Watch for future announcements with details!
