Meet Tracy Caldwell, MSN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to supporting mental health and wellness. 🧠💙

Tracy received her undergraduate degree from Wichita State University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. After several years of hospital nursing in a variety of specialty areas, she chose to pursue her passion for mental health care—providing education and medication management for individuals in need of psychiatric support.

Tracy has a special place in her heart for working with children and adolescents, while also valuing the relationships she has built with her adult patients, who continue to teach her about life and the resilience of the human spirit. She believes she has found her professional home in psychiatric care and feels privileged to participate in her patients’ journeys toward improved mental health.

The Iroquois Center remains steadfast in our commitment to serving our communities—especially in moments of greatest need. In small, rural areas, standing together during times of crisis isn’t just meaningful—it’s vital.

In response to the recent wildfires, we are serving as a drop-off site for donated supplies that will be delivered directly to Clark and Comanche Counties.

High-need items include:

Gloves (for fence repair)
Water
Gatorade
Liquid IV or other hydration packets
Snack items
Non-perishable snacks
Blankets and pillows for potential shelters
Eye drops
Baby wipes
Chapstick

Please do not donate clothing items at this time.

Donations may be dropped off at the Iroquois Center in the trailer located in front of the building. Deliveries will be made throughout this week.

We’re proud to highlight Kurt Leis, APRN, an experienced Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist with over 15 years in the mental health field.

Board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Mental Health/Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, Kurt has worked in both private practice and hospital settings. At Iroquois, he provides thoughtful, individualized medication evaluation and management for adults experiencing:

• Schizophrenia
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Bipolar disorder
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
• ADHD
• Substance use disorder

Kurt earned his Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from University of Kansas, his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bethel College, and his Master of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University.

Meet our Medical Director! 👋

Dr. Trever Krehbiel is a board-certified mental health specialist who has been practicing in the Wichita, Kansas area since completing his psychiatry residency at The University of Kansas in 2011. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2007 and returned home to Wichita to raise his family and serve the community he loves.

In addition to running his private practice, Dr. Krehbiel has been deeply involved in supporting rural mental health centers across the region. He has served as our Medical Director since 2019, where his experience, leadership, and dedication to patient care make a meaningful impact every day.
