With so much information online, it’s hard to know what to trust. We’re here to break down the truth about meds, supplements, and wellness—so you don’t have to guess.

The truth is, not all supplements are created equal.

Start here:

1️⃣ Know your goal
→ What are you actually trying to improve or support?

2️⃣ Make sure your vitamins are third-party tested.
→ This means an independent organization has verified the quality, ingredients, and dose—so what’s on the label is actually in the bottle (and backed by real standards/research)

3️⃣. Ask your pharmacist.
→ They can help you choose what’s safe, effective, and right for you based on your health goals.

Honored to have hosted Beyond Symptoms: How Functional Medicine Treats the Mind, Body, and Soul at PureCare Pharmacy & Wellness.
At PureCare, “wellness” in our name is not just a formality—it’s a promise. A promise to go beyond prescriptions, to build meaningful relationships, to educate our community, and to create space for conversations that empower people to better understand their health—from the inside out.
This evening was a true reflection of that mission—highlighting the powerful connection between gut health, the mind, and overall well-being.
A heartfelt thank you to Terrie Magro for her incredible work and dedication, to Dr. Luis Fandos and the Alluring Age team for sharing his knowledge and insight, and to Prashant Gupta for facilitating such an engaging and thoughtful conversation. And to my hubby—the pharmacist 😉—whose patience and genuine care for every person who walks through our doors, always taking the time to listen, understand, and ensure each individual feels supported on their health journey.
