Your scar tells a story. But it should not limit your movement.
One of the most common things we hear is:
“My incision healed fine, but it still feels tight, numb, or uncomfortable.”
This is more common than most people realize.
Scar tissue forms as part of normal healing, but that tissue also needs mobility, coordination, and nervous system reintegration. Your scar is connected to your abdominal wall, pelvic floor, and surrounding fascial system. When mobility is limited, it can contribute to core weakness, pulling sensations, pressure, or discomfort with exercise and daily movement.
This can happen after:
• C-section
• Hysterectomy
• Endometriosis surgery
• Abdominal or pelvic surgery
And it can persist for months or even years if never addressed.
The good news is that scar tissue responds very well to the right rehabilitation approach.
It is never too late to improve mobility and function.
