The ECU Health Foundation is committed to boosting philanthropic support for ECU Health and ECU’s health sciences.

The ECU Health Foundation is the powerful combination of your generosity and our dedication. As an independent, non-profit, tax-exempt, charitable corporation, we serve as custodian for all financial gifts, managing fundraising efforts for ECU Health, the colleges and schools of the health sciences at East Carolina University and the Laupus Library. The goal of each and every donation to the Foundation is to improve the quality of healthcare for eastern North Carolina and educate the next generation of health care providers. Through philanthropy, the ECU Health Foundation is committed to providing tangible impact for patients, families and students. Over the past four decades, more than $335 million has been raised by the Foundation to improve the overall health and well-being of eastern North Carolina. All funds raised have been used to support building projects, scholarships, and faculty support along with creating programs and services that are improving access for the 1.5 million patients served by ECU Health.

We had a great time sharing the exciting news of ECU Health EastCare’s new pediatric medical transport helicopter with our donors and friends this morning!

This is the first medical transport helicopter in the state dedicated solely to pediatric patients, and will play a vital role for sick and injured children across eastern North Carolina and beyond.

We are so grateful to our dedicated donors who support Maynard Children’s Hospital and Children's Miracle Network - Greenville, NC. Your generosity provides much of the critical pediatric equipment that will outfit the new aircraft.
