We’re proud to share that our co-founder and provider, Daniel Hill, was selected as the The ECU College of Nursing’s inaugural Decade Award Winner for Regional Impact!

This recognition is deeply meaningful — not just as an individual honor, but as a reflection of what we’re building together at Greener Hill Psychiatric. Our mission has always been simple: to increase critical access to mental health care, especially in rural and underserved communities across eastern North Carolina.

Every patient, every visit, and every story reminds us why this work matters. We’re honored by ECU’s recognition and inspired to keep pushing forward — expanding access, reducing stigma, and helping more people find balance, hope, and healing.

We are so grateful to share that Greener Hill Psychiatric has officially reached our one-year anniversary of serving the Eastern NC community! 🎉

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our patients for trusting us with your care, to our local therapists and providers for your collaboration, and to our community for welcoming us so warmly. 💚

This past year has been a journey of growth, compassion, and connection—and we couldn’t have done it without the support of all of you. We look forward to continuing to walk alongside you in wellness and care in the years ahead.

It has been brought to our attention that some of our patients are receiving letters saying we are no longer in-network with AmeriHealth Caritas.

These letters were sent in error by AHC. We are simply updating our service address with them and it inadvertently triggered this automated process. We have spoken with this them AM and confirmed all is well.

Please disregard any letter you receive concerning this. Thank you!

Quick and important update:

Effective as of 4/28/2025, we will be in a new location! It is 3 buildings down from our current office, which should provide a little more room for us as we grow!

Please be patient with our phone services today - we are training a newly hired administrative assistant for the next 2-3 days, so phone calls will be a little slower being answered/returned until she is up to speed with our processes.

Our receptionist is unfortuantely not feeling well today and will be out sick. Our phone systems are expected to be slower than normal. Please allow up to 24 hours for a return call.

As always, the best and quickest way to reach your provider is by sending a message in the patient portal.

We are aware of the Walgreens location on Greenville Blvd (near Evans) being permanently closed. Per the local news, all prescriptions have been rerouted to Harris Teeter (Evans St). Please contact your provider via the patient portal if you are having trouble picking up your prescription and we will reroute this to a location of your choice for you.

Out of an abundance of caution, all appointments for 2/19-2/21 will be moved to telehealth due to pending winter weather. Our staff have been attempting to contact all patients this will effect - if you do not want to utilize telehealth, we can reschedule you to the next available appointment slot.
