Each of our nine fellowship-trained reproductive endocrinologists and infertility specialists went into this field for reasons they still hold dear. As of November 1, Dr. John Nichols has returned to practicing full-time at his home office in PREG Greenville. We’re grateful for the time he spent supporting our Columbia location and the many families he’s helped grow in Columbia and the Midlands.

We’re also excited to welcome Dr. Lauren Rouleau to our Columbia office, where she is seeing patients full-time. Dr. Rouleau joined PREG in August 2025 and brings expertise, warmth, and compassionate care to those wishing to continue their care locally.

We understand how personal and important your journey is, and we want you to feel fully supported in deciding how you’d like to move forward. You are welcome to:
• Continue care with Dr. Nichols through virtual visits or in-person in Greenville, • Or transition your care to Dr. Rouleau locally in Columbia.

“My experience with PREG has been nothing short of fantastic! I saw Dr.McCoy as my primary RE and on the first visit he found the suspected diagnosis causing my infertility, confirmed it with a test, and then offered us various treatment options and gave us the pros and cons of each option and we never felt pressured to choose one option over another. Throughout my time with PREG I occasonally saw other providers for procedures and they were all wonderful. The nursing staff is 10/10, they are compassionate and responsive to questions and concerns. My primary nurse was Kristina, and she wonderful and patient especially with easing my anxiety (which I had a lot of!) and was always quick at addressing or relaying any concerns of mine; but all of my interactions with all of the staff have been positive. I would highly recommend PREG to anyone struggling with infertility or recurrent pregnancy loss!“
