🌟 Meet Miss Margaret 🌟 Margaret comes to us as a Clinical Fellow! We are excited for patients and families to meet her and for her to join our team! 💙 🙌

1. What inspired you to become an SLP?
I have always wanted to work with children. When I was looking through different majors in college, I discovered Speech-Language Pathology and immediately loved the idea of being able to work with children every day and help them find their voice, learn to communicate, and overall make an impact on the patients’ and their families’ lives.
2. What’s your favorite thing about working at AID-L?
I love getting to know my patients and their families, as well as collaborating with the other therapists.
3. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in two places: I lived in a town in West Texas called Midland until I was 12, and then I lived in San Francisco until I graduated from high school!
4. What’s your favorite food/snack?Unsweetened dried mango or dark chocolate
5. What is your all time favorite movie?
You’ve Got Mail
6. What’s your favorite thing to do in Greenville?
Walking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
7. What’s your go-to coffee/tea order?I am not a big coffee or tea drinker, so I usually just drink water!
8. Do you have any pets?
I have one dog, a dachshund with a big personality named Augie, but he is my family’s dog and lives in Texas!

🌟 Meet Mrs. Liz 🌟 We are excited for our patients and families to welcome Mrs. Liz with open arms to our AID-L SLP team! She graduated with her Master’s from Baylor University in 2022 and recently moved to Greenville, SC from Texas with her family. She has a background of working within the medical and school setting as well as the clinic setting as a graduate student.

1. What inspired you to become an SLP?Watching my grandmother struggle to communicate after her stroke inspired me to become an SLP. Even though I’ve chosen to work with kids, that experience made me realize how important communication is and how much of a difference it can make in people’s lives.

2. What’s your favorite thing about working at AID-L? I love having the ability to collaborate with other therapists in order to provide the best care for the families we serve.

2. Where did you grow up? Texas - we just moved to SC this summer!

3 What’s your favorite food/snack? Trail mix

4. What is your all time favorite movie? You’ve Got Mail

5. What’s your favorite thing to do in Greenville? I’m still exploring! I love Paris Mountain and the farmers’ markets in the area.

6. What’s your go-to coffee/tea order? Iced coffee
