I have not had a microwave in my home for over six years. I rarely used the microwave at my last house. I use my toaster oven or air fryer to warm up food.

A U.S. recall of infant formula tied to multiple cases of babies sickened with botulism has sparked fears in households around the country in recent weeks. But health and legal experts say other types of contaminants such as heavy metals and pesticides could be posing additional threats. An analysis unveiled by Friends of the Earth (FOE) showed more than two dozen types of pesticides have been detected in Target's Good & Gather non-organic baby food. The analysis is the latest among many testing projects conducted in recent years showing the prevalence of pesticide residues in foods commonly fed to children and generally considered healthy. FOE said it found residues of 29 pesticides in Apple Fruit Puree and Pear Fruit Puree baby foods, including pesticides banned in the European Union, pesticides linked to hormone disruption, pesticides linked to cancer, two classes of neurotoxic pesticides, five pesticides that are PFAS ‘forever chemicals (one of which is banned in the U.S.), and 16 pesticides that are classified as “highly hazardous” to human or environmental health.

New Study: France’s Birds Show Signs of Recovery After Neonicotinoid Insecticides Ban in 2018. Bird populations appear to be making a tentative recovery after a ban on the infamous bee-killing pesticides, according to the first study to examine how wildlife is returning in Europe. Neonicotinoids (neonics, for short) are the world’s most common class of insecticides, widely used in conventional agriculture and for flea control in pets. By 2022, four years after the EU banned neonics use in fields, researchers observed that France’s population of insect-eating birds had increased by 2%-3%. These included blackbirds, blackcaps and chaffinches, which feed on insects as adults and as chicks. The lead researcher, Thomas Perrot from the Fondation pour la recherche sur la biodiversité in Paris, said: “Even a few percentage [points’] increase is meaningful – it shows the ban made a difference. Our results clearly point to neonicotinoid bans as an effective conservation measure for insectivorous birds.”

In the U.S., neonic insecticides are still widely used in GMO and conventional agriculture, killing off bees, butterflies, and other non-target beneficial insects. Studies have shown these neurotoxic pesticides harm many species, including mammals. Research has also proven that neonics aren't even necessary and are coated onto GMO and conventional seeds just so the chemical corporations can hike up the price of the seeds. Neonics, like some other widely used pesticides, are so over-used that the chemicals have polluted much of our nation's waters and is even falling down in the rain.

It is a sad story. They are so anti alternative care they will sick strictly to what the allopathic doctors say to do. My FIL was given 3-6 months to live. With minimal nutrition improvement he survived almost three years.
