I’ve been keeping a secret. And now I can share it with you all.

Last year I was accepted into the Master of Accounting program at UNC-Chapel Hill. After the first semester I realized the focus to be too narrow for the work that I ultimately want to do.

Long story short, I prayed about my next move and decided to apply to Penn State to work on a Doctorate of Business Administration. Not only was I accepted into the program, I was offered a significant scholarship and I received the formal
scholarship notice this week.

My studies will be focused on creating tools and assessments for organizations that focus on the intersection of culture and performance.

I am more than excited. I am blessed.

I’ll be on campus for orientation in August so y’all pray for Kennedy’s daddy because he has to move her back on campus by himself with ALLLLL her stuff 🤣

I’m now a certified consultant with the Standards for Excellence Institute®, a national initiative established to promote the highest standards of ethics, effectiveness, and accountability in nonprofit governance, management, and operations, and to help all nonprofit organizations meet these high benchmarks.

If your organization feels like a jungle then please understand that CULTURE IS KING! Our "Chief Fire Putter Outter" (CEO) Miriam Dicks often says that "Culture is an apex predator".

Culture will eat, strategy, vision, funding, management, and more for lunch. Too often when organizations need to change they transform their strategy or vision, without understanding that they have just given the true culprit new prey.

Here's a question for you: What is your organization's culture "having for lunch" in your organization?

To accomplish anything of significance requires a team! We are so excited to have added to Uanino to our team as our new Business Development Coordinator.

Jaime holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida.

Her most recent role was working as Program Coordinator for two statewide programs at South Carolina’s Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) to address health disparities and disease prevention, as well as assisting in data quality and grant reviews.

In her free time, she loves reading with a cup of tea and spending time outdoors. Although a Florida native, Jaime currently lives with her family at Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico.
