ORDER INTAKE/CONSULTATION: Whatever the order, our experienced staff utilizes their knowledge and experience to assist our patients and referral sources in selecting the proper equipment and supplies based on patient need, diagnosis and reimbursement coverage. INSURANCE MANAGEMENT: We verify insurance at time of order, obtain prior authorizations when required, communicate financial responsibility to the patient, file claims and accept payment from Medicare, Medicaid, most group health insurance plans, and other agencies. We bill both primary and secondary insurances for most of our equipment. We also accept VISA, Mastercard, and American Express for the convenience of our customers. EQUIPMENT DELIVERY: Carolina Homecare offers free delivery services, set-up of equipment, as well as patient/caregiver instruction and training for our patients. We also provide 24 hour emergency services. PATIENT & CAREGIVER INSTRUCTION AND TRAINING: Our staff of Patient Service Technicians ensure that our patients and family members are fully trained on the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and safety of our equipment.
