Welcome to 2026!
BuildWell Health and Dimeo Construction Company day 2 program launch. Doing a little OF education.
Time for action. We can’t keep talking about the problem. At some point we need action.
At BuildWell Health we are focused on figuring out a new more realistic and effective way to address in construction. “Traditional” acute care clinic based services fall woefully short. Stigma reduction talks help but only scratch the surface. We are interested in something more significant.
Something transformational.

Be the first to know and let us send you an email when Rich Jones' Recovery Cartel posts news and promotions. Your email address will not be used for any other purpose, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
The purpose of the Recovery Cartel is simple. To provide the most comprehensive, helpful, informative and actionable information in the domain of addiction, treatment and recovery. We will curate this information from any and all possible resources including our own personal experience.
We chose the name Recovery Cartel for obvious reasons. Everyone knows the cartels drive addiction. Our vision is a similar aggressive approach toward driving recovery. Webster’s defines cartel as: “a combination of independent commercial or industrial enterprises designed to limit competition or fix prices”. We have no prices to fix or competition to limit. However, we intend to approach addiction the way the cartels approach business. Relentlessly, tirelessly, aggressively, and without apology. It is our goal to bring light to the secrets that keep our system sick. It is our goal to provide all sides of the story. We have no agenda other than the eradication of addiction.
Who I Am
I have worked in the helping professions as a counselor, therapist, coach and administrator for over 23 years. I have started multiple businesses and launched various non-profit organizations. I teach at the university level and usually carry 2 or 3 classes. Some people would call me a workaholic but that is an over-used negative way to look at things. I say I enjoy what I do and prefer work over watching TV. I have a multitude of professional credentials, Master Degree in Sociology and an MBA with a concentration in healthcare management. I am an outstanding coach and therapist. If they kept rankings of these type of things I’m sure I would be ranked in the top 5 worldwide–JUST KIDDING.
My professional experience has provided a wealth of knowledge and relationships from which to draw the accurate and insightful addiction related information. In addition, I have lived addiction and recovery. I have been a family member of addiction and recovery. I have imposed my addiction, and then joyfully shared my recovery, onto people I love. For better or worse I know this thing inside and out. Through professional training and lived experience.
I have been married for 24 years. My wife has gone through some very difficult stuff with me and she has been the best thing that ever happened to me. We will most certainly live out “until death do us part”. And I hope I go first because I can’t imagine life without her.
My father struggled with substance use disorders and was a very unpredictable man. It was confusing and sometimes scary growing up in that home. My mom is awesome and I will always be grateful for the way in which she navigated that extremely difficult situation. I did my best to follow in my father’s footsteps but found recovery in 2001.
I know how to overcome a very difficult addiction and I know first-hand what it is like to “put on a front”. I don’t think anyone outside of my immediate family had any idea how poorly I was coping with stress. I believe my personal experience has provided me with even more useful information than my formal education and training. There is nothing like “been there done that” when it comes to helping people overcome difficult times.
More important than anything. This is meant to be useful.
