Welcome to Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program in the Continuing Education and Community Development Division at Pitt Community College. Pitt Community College EMS Training Division plays an active role in the Education of individuals wishing to begin a career in EMS or meeting the Continuing Education needs of EMS Professionals in Pitt County and surrounding areas. EMS Continuing Education Training programs provide courses for those who need to train, retrain, and update themselves in the field of EMS. The continuing education programs offered by our division are of the highest quality both in classroom and field instruction. We offer a wide range of classes from the Initial EMT-Basic class to Initial Paramedic. These classes are intended for those that are current members of Career and Volunteer Emergency Medical Service Agencies and those wishing to begin an exciting career in EMS.
