Pondering Lent

Some have inquired about my absence from social media over the past months and I did take a step back, not for any particular reason, but I found it was somewhat freeing.

I was considering what to “give up” or “take on” for Lent, when it occurred to me that I was missing connections that I had through social media and decided that I would engage again, but with intention of more meaningful connection and interaction.

So here’s a YouTube video of a sleep meditation by the ABIDE app. The app provides bedtime stories, scripture reading, and peaceful meditation leading
that I have found very helpful when sleep seems far from me.
There are several videos available free on YouTube if you don’t want to purchase the app.

I am amazed at other people’s talent... and sometimes a little jealous. My last client tonight shared some of his with me. Planning to have some of his work available at the office and maybe even Origami classes if we have some friends/clients interested. I always think “I should try that...” and then ...I forget to make the time. Let me know if you or someone you know may be interested in learning or purchasing a piece. A percentage will go to Charity - possibly Foster Children or Shriners... something to give back to the community. This talented guy has a heart for kids and the community, and a gift for art and patience. ❤️😂😍

I recently had the honor of giving one of my "New Mommy Clients" her "Baby's First Massage"❤️❤️❤️ It took me back a few years to when Gia was a new born and I first started massaging her for relaxation. This little one had a bit of torticollis, and his doctor had recommended massage to help lengthen and relaxthose neck muscles. It also gave me an opportunity to show Mommy some relaxation techniques, and some things to help with digestive issues. Although this baby came to me due to a Doctor referral, after the session he was of the belief that Baby Massage is a good idea, with or without a referral! 😍 Can't wait for his next visit- and would like to encourage all New Mommies to bring baby in for a little relaxation session.... and sometimes they like to sleep afterward while Mommy enjoys her session. ❤️❤️❤️
Not a bad Mommy/Baby outing--- and it will make my day, as well!!!❤️❤️❤️
