Dr Wolin is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist in the upstate region of SC. From 1988-1994, Dr. Wolin was on the faculty of the University of SC. He was subsequently a member of a group practice for three years in Anderson, SC. In 1998, Dr Wolin established The Center for Advanced Eye Care in Greenville, SC. Dr Wolin attended Union College in Schenectady, NY, where he graduated summa cm laude as p
art of a 6 year combined college and medical school program. He then went on to Albany Medical College in Albany, NY from which he graduated in 1983. He completed his internship at Bridgeport Hospital, a Yale affiliate. He completed a 3 year ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University, followed by a fellowship in Neuro Ophthalmology in NY City. He spent the next several months in Utah doing specialized training in eye socket disorder and oculoplastics. Dr Wolin has published a number of papers and has spoken extensively in his specialty and subspecislties. He was a principal investigator for the Ischemic Optic Neuropathy decompression trial sponsored by the National Eye Institute. Dr Wolin practices general ophthalmology including both medical and surgical care. He also maintains an active interest in the subspecislty areas of Neuro Ophthalmology and Oculoplastics. Dr Wolin lives in Greenville with his son Neil and daughter Kelsey.
