Horace Franklin Carter, 81 of 1995 Mill Road, Chocowinity, NC, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at ECU Health-Beaufort.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the St. Anna MB Church - 1841 Flat Swamp Road, Blounts Creek, NC. The burial will follow at the church cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the church from 12 pm to 1 pm.

The family will receive friends at the home and at 511 Core Point Rd, Blounts Creek, NC.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 12 p.m. at the English Chapel FWB Church. The burial will follow at Homestead Memorial Gardens. There will be a public viewing at the church from 11 am to 12 pm.
