I turned 47 yesterday, and nature gave me the greatest gift of all: Clarity.

Brandon and I stepped away for a much-needed digital detox. We spent the weekend backpacking through Jones Gap, camping along a running river and a soothing waterfall, before a steep hike to a second, massive one.

The highlight? Blue Ghost fireflies.

They surrounded us and our tent for hours, a rare, ethereal glow found only here in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. It felt like being inside a fairytale. 🧚

We held a fire ceremony, burning dried leaves to symbolize the emotions and thoughts that no longer serve us. It was incredibly freeing to watch them catch light, hold their power for a final moment, and then slowly turn to ash.

The result of all that quiet? My mind cleared so deeply that I came up with the entire outline for my book!

This year is going to be about:
• Deeper connection to nature
• Finally writing my dream book
• Leading with my heart

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I’m forever grateful to be surrounded by such an amazing community of friends and family.

For a long time, I felt like I was in "survival mode" with my social media content, trying to keep up, trying to be everywhere, trying to figure out the algorithm, trying to be perfect...

But over the last 17 years, I’ve learned that the most profound healing happens when we stop pushing and start listening to our nervous systems.

My own nervous system is finally operating within the Window of Tolerance, and with that, my grounded and creative energy is returning. I’m so excited to share that I am returning to YouTube with a fresh focus: Somatic Yoga.
