I’m so happy to share that I’m partnering with Conestee Nature Preserve again to bring something new for women 40+ this spring. 🌿

Beginning in March, I’ll be hosting a monthly Mindful Walk & Talk on Wednesday evenings.

We’ll meet at different locations within the preserve each time and explore together. Think gentle walks to the lake, time at the amphitheater for meditation and intention setting, wandering through the meadow, and quiet moments to simply breathe and be in nature.

This is a gentle, supportive way to move your body, calm your nervous system, and connect with other women in this season of life.

With the storm warning and all the talk about power outages, I stocked up on a few healthy non-refrigerated foods just in case.

Here’s what’s in my bags:
• Fruit: apples + oranges
• Healthy fats: walnuts, pumpkin seeds, nut butter, avocados, olives, artichoke hearts in olive oil
• Easy complex carbs: gluten-free multigrain bread, sweet potato chips, seed crackers
• Protein: tuna, turkey jerky, protein granola, chickpeas

I didn’t buy water because I already have water pitchers at home that I’ll fill up (eco-friendly + simple).

And honestly, my main prep isn’t just food. It’s nervous system care.

I’ve got candles, matches, and lanterns ready and I’m planning a slower weekend: journaling, reading, gentle yoga, and going through closets.

I was talking to someone at Sprouts about how everyone feels a little stuck in fight-or-flight right now. If that’s you too, you’re not alone. Let’s all take a breath.

Last week, I had the opportunity to partner with WellnessIQ to bring workplace wellness nutrition events to EPCOR Canada in Arizona and Texas, and I’m still feeling so grateful.

The engagement was amazing. We covered everything from building smarter eating habits to ingredient label reading, easy meal planning, and simple recipe ideas.

My favorite part was the conversation. People asked honest questions, learned without judgment, and walked away with practical steps they can actually use.

So thankful to EPCOR + WellnessIQ for the opportunity, and to everyone who participated. This is exactly the kind of wellness work I love being part of.
