Dr. Mike Forsyth was born in Lockport, New York. He attended Delhi University in New York, where he received an Associate Degree in Applied Science. After graduation, he moved to Goldsboro, North Carolina where he attended Mount Olive College and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology and worked for several years in the genetics field in Raleigh.
After being injured in a motorcycle accident that left him with excruciating back pain, Dr. Mike was treated with injections and medications that were not helping. A family member referred Dr. Forsyth to a chiropractor, and three months later he was pain free. He was able to return to doing the things he loved like backpacking in the mountains, hunting, and fishing. After realizing that chiropractic was his real passion, Dr. Forsyth attended Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He practiced in Aiken, South Carolina and Lexington, South Carolina providing patients with chiropractic care.
Dr. Forsyth, Jennifer, and their twin boys have returned to Eastern North Carolina to be closer to family and friends and to bring his expertise to patients of all ages. Dr. Mike Forsyth joined McGee Chiropractic in Oct 2022 and will lead the office as Dr. Dennis McGee retires this year.
