For many people, summer is a time to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. For chronic pain sufferers, the hot summer weather can be a cause of many chronic pain flare-ups. Avoid the heat on sweltering days by staying inside. Pick up a book or play a board game to keep yourself cool, entertained, and stress-free. If you cannot go without outdoor exercise, rearrange your day to where you can complete these activities in the morning or evening when it is not so hot.
