It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved brother and friend, Jack Mozingo. Jack Mozingo has served with Greenville Fire/Rescue for over the past 15 years. Greenville Fire/Rescue firefighters are heading to Chapel Hill today to bring our brother home. Please continue to keep his family, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace brother.

Congratulations to Dr. Andrew Bouland, the Compress & Shock Foundation and Greenville Fire Rescue on the excellent CPR training today.

116 people were trained on how to do life-saving hand-only CPR. The Compress & Shock Foundation also distributed 7 Automated External Defibrillators (AED) to the community. This is certainly a great achievement.

Congratulations to Dr. Bryan Kitch on becoming the Medical Director for the Pitt County EMS System. Dr. Andrew Bouland will continue serving as Associate Medical Director. I have no doubt they will continue to grow and improve the EMS system.

I want to thank once again each one of you for your support these past 9 years. It has been an honor to be your medical director. I will continue to assist the EMS system as needed as an Assistant Medical Director.
