A great example of how IgM and IgG react in terms of virus exposure - days are only estimates and may be inaccurate.

Here's a great image that helps to visualize when certain Corona Virus tests should be positive - it is a rough estimate and more educational in nature than based on hard data. It does not necessarily depict the actual exact dates each test should be positive as we still need a lot more data to know the dates for sure. If you are interested in getting PCR or antibody testing please let us know and we would be happy to help!

On 4/20/20 Dr. Frank was potentially exposed to a patient who later showed symptoms that could be consistent with the Coronavirus. As a precaution he has closed the clinic until that patient can be tested and monitored and will be keeping himself in relative quarantine until further notice. Do not enter the clinic without consulting someone first. Prescriptions will be sent in electronically and all visits will be conducted by telephone or video chat until further notice.

No patients should be concerned for potential exposure as the patient in question was the last to be seen during that day. The clinic has and will be continued to be disinfected thoroughly until reopened to regular visits.

Update 4/23/20 - The patient in question tested negative and so we have returned back to allowing visits in person if needed. We are still limiting it so that most visits are done by phone if possible.

We are now going to start testing for Corona Virus both using PCR and Immunoglobulin testing. We made an infographic about the differences between the two tests to help people understand the differences and positives and negatives of each one better. We have just gotten in some toilet paper and antibacterial soap from our medical supplier in case anyone isn't able to find any around them. Toilet paper is $1 per roll and the antibacterial soap is $7.50 per bottle. We are still waiting to try to get hand sanitizer and two spray disinfectants in and will try to update you all when they come in. This is open to anyone in need and not just patients of the clinic.

A helpful tip for all of our patients (and our non patients) regular bar soap and water are fine for washing your hands. If you cannot get regular hand sanitizer since it is sold out, just use regular soap and water for 30 seconds. It does not even have to be specifically antibacterial as any bar soap should do! Please spread the word and help slow the spread of the Corona Virus!
