Happy Sunday!

I have 4 remaining blue winter knit hats available on my website. Once they are gone I will look for another winter option - but wanted to wait until these were spoken for. I just dropped the price to $20 on the remaining few if anyone was interested. I'll pull this post if/when they are all claimed.

Hello!

I've gotten a few messages in the last 48 hours about the Medicine Ball combo. Yes, it was sold out on my website for the last few days BUT it is live again as of a few hours ago.

I have enough supply to cover roughly 150-160 more sets? That will be the last of what I have until the new year! The next expected resupply will be the 1st/2nd week of January so if you are hoping to have any for the Holiday rush ... it might be best to be early rather than late in ordering this time around.

I have gotten a lot of messages asking about the different Angel Trees around the area - who they benefit, where they are, etc and as much as I wish I had all the answers - I really do not. So I was hoping you all could help fill in some blanks for me and for each other?

Do you know where other Angel/Giving Trees are located in the Fox Valley? Do you know who they benefit? I know many of you have expressed wanting to add to your Christmas shopping lists ... maybe this could be a way to help each other do so.

Any info you could add to help others would be really appreciated!

Walk with me for a minute.

So I stopped by in Appleton yesterday and stumbled upon their
"angel tree". Every name on the tree is a foster care child in the Outagamie County System. The cards tell you the general specifics of the child and then a few requests.. namely something they want, something they need, something to wear, something to read, etc. I grabbed one and went on a small shopping trip, came back and looked through a few more.

I was told there are a few of these trees around the Valley (someone help me if that is in/correct and if so, where are the others?) specific to Outagamie County Foster Care. I was also told that every child in the system has a card.

I understand there was money raised last week to possibly cover the items on these cards that are not picked/fulfilled at the end of this cycle?

But I also feel like I want us to grab these cards and over deliver for the kids on the other side of them.

So here is my offer to you. Go find this tree (or the others if they have more in the area). Go be Santa for a new friend. Be great at it. Take a picture of your card and whatever it is you are gifting when you return it back to the host site. Email me that photo. I will send you a single use $25 coupon to our website as a thank you.

(I believe cards are due back by 12/8. We have until then. If any information I have here is incorrect or if there is anything that needs to be added please let me know. I'm sure there are many of you out there who can speak better to the specifics of the program.)

I think we can empty this tree.
