Proud to see Nature at Work in action in Sumter!

When employees step outside to serve their community, they’re not just cleaning up a space, they’re building connection, strengthening wellbeing, and helping create healthier places across South Carolina.

Thank you to Sumter Green and the City of Sumter, South Carolina team for showing what partnership and impact look like on the ground. This is exactly the kind of leadership we hope to inspire statewide.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking you to help change the way children see the world - one school, one garden, one beehive at a time. 🐝🌺

Because The Bee Cause Project isn’t just about bees.
It’s about what bees teach kids.

When a child watches a honey bee land on a flower, something powerful happens.
Wonder turns into curiosity.
Curiosity turns into confidence.
And suddenly, science isn’t abstract - it’s alive.

Your gift today gives students real-world learning they can touch, see, and feel.
Let’s bring this experience to more classrooms than ever.

Donate today. Every gift matters: thebeecause.org/donate

Inaugural Advisory Council Meeting Highlights

What an inspiring afternoon at our inaugural Nature at Work Advisory Council Meeting hosted by Founding Member Lowcountry Land Trust at their beautiful new Center for Conservation. Founding members from across the state joined us for a powerful keynote from Dr. Ann Kulze, meaningful conversations around collaboration and nature-based wellbeing, and our first collective leadership session.

During the table talks, members shared ideas about hosting outdoor experiences, partnering across sectors, and identifying the tools and resources that would help bring more nature-based practices into workplaces and communities.

This council will help shape the future of Nature at Work and we’re grateful for the energy, vision, and leadership in the room.

If your organization feels aligned with this work, we invite you to join our growing community of committed leaders who are helping shape the future of Nature at Work across South Carolina.
