That “tight” feeling?
Yeah… it might not be tight at all.
It’s often your body asking for strength, not stretching.
Real-life examples we see every day at Epic PT:
* Tight hamstrings → actually weak glutes doing zero work
* Tight hip flexors → core isn’t stabilizing, so they overwork
* Tight calves → ankles aren’t strong enough to control movement
* Tight shoulders/neck → your upper back isn’t pulling its weight
So you stretch… it feels better for 10 minutes… and then 👋 right back.
Because the problem wasn’t length.
It was load tolerance.
Your body tightens things up when it doesn’t trust them.
Give it strength → it gives you freedom.
If you feel like you’re constantly chasing “tightness”…
