🌟 Exciting update from the GMR Foundation for Research and Education! 🌟

Our Board of Directors gathered for our annual strategic planning meeting, and it was incredibly productive! We spent the day aligning on our mission, making key decisions to guide the foundation’s work in 2026 and beyond, and recommitting to our core goal:

⚡️supporting clinical, educational, and health systems research to improve the care and safety of patients in the out-of-hospital setting.

👏A huge thank you to our dedicated board members for their insights, passion, and leadership.👏

Together, we’re advancing initiatives that make a real difference in patient outcomes and community wellbeing.

📸 Proud to work alongside such incredible individuals!

We are thrilled to share that our foundation was proud to sponsor 30 attendees for the NAEMSP annual meeting last month. This scholarship provided a fantastic opportunity for non-physician, non-student EMS professionals who are interested in becoming, or are currently, professional members of NAEMSP®. It also gave them a chance to enhance their skills, network with peers, and gain valuable insights into the latest advancements in the field of emergency medical services.

It was an enriching experience for everyone involved, and we're excited to continue supporting professional development in emergency medical services. 🫶🚑🩺

Joseph Zalkin, NAEMSP Membership/Chapter Committee Chair; David Grovdahl, recipient from Clarksville Arkansas; Clayton Kazan, NAEMSP Physician Member at Large Board member; Ben Wetzel, recipient from Gillette, Wyoming; David Miramontes, NAEMSP Physician Member at Large.
