Today, on , we say THANK YOU to our incredible team of over 500 physicians! These men and women practice across a wide variety of specialties — emergency medicine, hospital medicine, inpatient neurology, neurosurgery and spine, pediatric emergency medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, telemedicine, and wound care and hyperbaric oxygen — caring for well over 3,000 patients across the country daily. Their impact is immeasurable — their expertise saves lives, their research pushes medicine forward, and their compassion provides comfort when it's needed most. They are the heartbeat of our organization.

Several of our Utah clinicians participated in CarePoint's latest journal club earlier this week at Roosters Brewing Co. in Layton, where they dissected three neurology-focused peer-reviewed articles ... and enjoyed some tasty bites and sips in the process!

We're incredibly proud of our physicians and advanced practice providers for their dedication to lifelong learning. They aren't just clinicians; they're students of their craft, always striving to stay at the forefront of medical science for the benefit of the patients they care for.

🎉 It’s A Match! 😃

Late last week, six new physicians from around the globe officially matched with us and our new emergency medicine residency in Wichita, Kansas! This residency — now one of just four emergency medicine residencies in the Colorado-Kansas-Utah region! — is the result of a dynamic partnership between CarePoint, Wesley Medical Center (Wesley Healthcare), the Wichita Center for Graduate Medical Education, and the University of Kansas School of Medicine (University of Kansas Medical Center). The inaugural class will get started in July!

When well-being and walloping a colleague meet! Actually, OK, no colleagues were walloped, but bags and pads certainly were! Several of our clinicians and staff recently participated in an "Intro to Muay Thai" class at High Altitude Martial Arts in Denver, where they learned how to strike and zapped some calories and stress in the process! The event was put on by our amazing Well-Being and Peer Support team, which is always looking for ways to support our people emotionally, mentally, and physically.
