❄️ Ice Storm Warning – Community Update & Preparedness ❄️
The National Weather Service has issued an Ice Storm Warning for our area from Saturday, Jan. 24 at 1:00 pm through Monday, Jan. 26 at 7:00 pm. With temperatures expected to remain near or below freezing afterward, impacts could linger into next week.
Potential hazards may include:

⚠️ Falling limbs or trees
⚠️ Icy roads, walkways, balconies, and porches
⚠️ Travel challenges and limited accessibility

Our leadership and operations teams are actively monitoring conditions and have already put multiple safety and comfort measures in place, including:
✔️ Emergency generators and charging stations in all main lobbies
✔️ Bottled water and additional food supplies on hand
✔️ Stairwell lighting staged in case of power outages
✔️ Gas Fireplaces available as warming areas
✔️ Salting primary entrances and walkways
✔️ On-site staff staying throughout the storm to assist residents
✔️ Transportation support for essential staff
✔️ Meal delivery plans if walkways become unsafe
