1. Regulate your body before the house wakes up. Sit still for 60 seconds with one hand on your chest and one on your belly. Slow inhale for 4, slow exhale for 6. This tells your brain: “We’re safe.”
2. Create one boundary that protects your energy. Pick one thing you say no to today. No extra chores. No last-minute obligation. No rescuing an adult who should handle their own stuff. Your nervous system needs less load.
3. Add protein + fiber to your first meal. Scrambled eggs, Greek yogurt, or a protein shake + berries and chai seeds or flax seed. This stabilizes blood sugar so you’re not irritable, shaky, or overwhelmed by noon.
