Long day? Epsom Salt + Baking Soda Bath = Vagus Nerve Reset? Yes, please.

This simple combo taps into your body’s natural healing system by calming the vagus nerve, your built-in stress regulator. And it’s my go-to in the evenings when I’m feeling stressed.

Try this reset recipe:
-> 2 cups Epsom salt
-> 1 cup baking soda
-> Soak for 20 minutes, 2–3x/week

Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate) free of fragrance
Helps your body absorb magnesium through the skin, calming the nervous system, easing tension, and improving vagal tone.

Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
Supports detox, soothes skin, and may reduce inflammation. It also helps neutralize pH, creating a more relaxing environment for the nervous system.

Warm water immersion
Naturally stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest + digest mode), signaling safety and calm.

Deep breathing + stillness
Baths slow your breathing and heart rate both are directly linked to vagus nerve activation. If quiet isn’t your jam, listen to the Field Trip app or some binaural beats (Moongate app is what I use).

Brain Health Reboot = our IV ketamine therapy + integration
This is for when your brain feels stuck in survival mode.
Depression, anxiety, burnout, trauma.
Ketamine helps interrupt rigid patterns and open neuroplasticity so the brain can change.
Integration is what turns that opening into lasting change.

ROOT Membership = for anyone interested in brain health
And great for our post ketamine therapy patient for on-going integration. You don’t have to be in crisis.
This is for people who want better focus, regulation, stress resilience, and long-term brain health. Simple tools. Clear education. Weekly support.
No overwhelm.

Different entry points.
Same goal: a brain that works with you, not against you.

01/29/2026

In medically supervised mental-health protocols, ketamine:
• Doesn’t drive compulsive reward-seeking
• Doesn’t create escalating “need more” patterns
• Isn’t taken daily or continuously
• Is spaced intentionally to support healing, not chasing a feeling

Dependence means needing more and more.
That pattern isn’t what we see with properly dosed, protocol-based ketamine therapy.

Context matters.

Ketamine used recreationally or without structure is a different conversation.

Ketamine used medically, with screening, dosing protocols, and supervision has a low risk for addiction.
👉 That’s the difference people miss.

“Can ketamine therapy help if medications haven’t worked?”

Yes.
And here’s why.
Most antidepressants target serotonin.
Slow changes. One pathway. Weeks to months.

Ketamine plays a different game.
It works on glutamate, the brain’s main communication system.

What that actually does 👇
Blocks NMDA receptors
→ quiets overactive stress and fear circuits
Increases glutamate signaling
→ gets the brain unstuck
Activates BDNF and growth pathways
→ repairs and strengthens brain connections
Creates new neural pathways
→ neuroplasticity
Makes the brain more change-ready
→ why what happens after ketamine matters
→ regulation, therapy, and integration lock it in

That’s the difference.
Ketamine isn’t “stronger meds.”
It’s a different mechanism.

Here’s what’s Important too:
Ketamine doesn’t do the healing for you.
It opens the window. → What you do next determines the outcome.

“Definitely 180 degrees from where I started… Things are figureoutable.”

After his sixth Ketamine infusion, one of our patients shared how much his perspective has changed since beginning treatment. Where he once felt backed into a corner and unable to cope, he now feels more capable of working through challenges as they come.

He’s noticing improved mood, greater patience, and less reactivity in stressful moments. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, he’s learning to pause, stay calmer, and approach situations with more clarity.

Progress like this reflects more than symptom relief it shows a shift in how life’s problems are viewed and handled. Every journey is unique, but moments like this remind us that with the right support, things really can start to feel figureoutable again.

If your body feels spicy for no reason… inflammation might be driving.

Then:
Ask yourself these 5 questions 👇
1. Am I waking up tired even after a full night of sleep?
2. Do I feel puffy, achy, or sore without a clear reason?
3. Is my brain foggy, irritable, or overwhelmed more often than usual?
4. Have stress, poor sleep, or sugar crept in lately?
5. Does everything feel harder than it should right now?

Inflammation doesn’t just live in the body. It changes how the brain feels and functions. And maybe makes you make funny faces like this 🤪

After her second infusion, one of our patients shared these changes in her everyday life. She’s noticing healthier eating patterns, more patience, and improved energy, along with a brighter and more hopeful mindset.

Being able to take care of postponed responsibilities and simple tasks like going to the store reflects how much lighter daily life is starting to feel for her.

Every journey is different, but moments like this show how mental health improvements can reach into real-life habits, routines, and confidence.

Let’s talk about compression socks…I wear them when we travel. Yep, even with shorts 😆
I wear them at work.
I even wear them around the house.

Why, you ask? And why should you care, especially when it comes to brain health? Because your brain doesn’t live in isolation. It depends on circulation, oxygen delivery, and nervous system regulation.

Compression socks help by:
• Improving blood flow back to the heart
• Reducing pooling and inflammation in the legs
• Supporting more efficient oxygen delivery
• Providing gentle sensory input that can feel grounding for the nervous system

When circulation improves, the brain benefits.
Less sluggishness.
Less “wired but tired.”
More stability in the system overall.

Small supports, used consistently, help the brain work with less effort.

Sometimes brain health looks like therapy and supplements.
Sometimes it looks like compression socks… with shorts. 🤣

Feeling overwhelmed? Here’s a quick fix.
Try box breathing:
Inhale for 4
Hold for 4
Exhale for 4
Hold for 4
Repeat for 1–2 minutes.

This steady rhythm tells your nervous system you’re safe.
Heart rate slows.
Stress signals dial down.
Your brain can think again.
