Pssst! Maybe you don’t know the difference, or you just think “masseuse” sounds fancy, but there is a difference. Let’s just say, a Massage Therapist implies that I have gone to school and I am licensed. Whereas a “masseuse” isn’t legit, and is breaking laws. (On a similar note, don’t call my massage table a bed.)
I won’t get mad about being called a masseuse because I assuming that you don’t know there’s a difference. But it is a little bit like fingers on a chalkboard.
