Today feels like a milestone we want to pause and honor. We are grateful to share that we're now participating providers with South Carolina Medicaid, Select Health/First Choice Medicaid, and Aetna.

All the long hours, paperwork, waiting, and faith in the process were worth it. Our practice continues to grow, and we are now able to serve even more children, adolescents, and young adults impacted by DSS involvement, foster care, kinship care, and adoption.

We are building a safe place of belonging for families who often struggle to find providers who understand their stories. Because of that growth, we are also looking to bring on one or two associates who feel called to this work and want to be part of a mission-driven team.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and prayed along the way. This is only the beginning 🤍

We specialize in working with foster, kinship, adoptive, and special-needs children, adolescents, and families using trauma-informed, attachment-focused care.

• LMSW, LISW-CP, LPC, LPC-A licensed in South Carolina
• Passion for trauma-informed and relational work
• Experience or strong interest in foster care, kinship care, adoption, and special needs
• Collaborative, heart-forward clinician who values creativity and connection

Brixx the Therapy Dog – Purpose

Brixx’s purpose is to create safety before words are ever needed. He helps lower anxiety, soften defenses, and bring regulation into spaces where emotions feel big or overwhelming. Through his calm presence, gentle engagement, and steady companionship, Brixx supports emotional regulation, grounding, and connection, especially for children, teens, and adults impacted by trauma, neurodiversity, grief, or stress. He often becomes the bridge to trust, making therapeutic work feel less intimidating and more relational. Brixx reminds clients that they are not alone, that comfort can exist alongside hard things, and that healing can begin with simply feeling safe. 🐾

Meet Bri | Administrative Assistant

Bri is often the very first warm hello you’ll encounter at our practice. She welcomes families, helps keep schedules running smoothly, and supports our fundraising efforts that allow our mission to grow. Behind the scenes, Bri brings organization, care, and heart to everything she does, helping ensure that each person feels seen and supported from the very first contact.

Bri is currently a student at Montreat College, where she is studying Psychology. She plans to pursue a career as a child life specialist, combining her academic training with a deep passion for supporting children and families through challenging moments. Her compassion, dedication, and calm presence make her a meaningful part of our team.

Hi, I’m Jenny 👋
I’m a heart-first human who believes everyone deserves a place where they feel safe, seen, and they belong. I spend my days advocating for kids, teens, and families who’ve been through hard things, building spaces of hope, and reminding people that healing doesn’t have to be perfect to be real.

Most days, I’m not doing this alone. I’m usually alongside my psychiatric therapy dog, my four-legged co-regulator, quiet comforter, and professional reminder to pause and breathe 🐾. Together, we bring calm, connection, and a little warmth into spaces that need it most.

I love meaningful conversations, quiet moments, laughter that sneaks up on you, and watching people discover their own strength. I’m passionate about community, second chances, and showing up even when it’s messy.

Grateful to be here, grateful for connection, and always rooting for growth. 💛
