I have an important update regarding insurance billing at PNW Pain Relief & Prenatal Massage. After careful review of reimbursement rates and ongoing changes in insurance policies, I will no longer be accepting HealthNet, Aetna, Cigna, the Choose Healthy Program, or WellCare.
Unfortunately, these plans consistently reimburse far below the industry standard, making it unsustainable for me to continue providing the level of care, time, and individualized treatment that my practice is known for while remaining contracted with these insurers. In order to protect my business, maintain the quality of care you receive, and continue offering longer sessions and specialized modalities, I can no longer stay in-network with these programs.
If you are currently using one of these plans:
• You are still welcome to continue receiving treatment as a cash-pay client.
• I can provide you with a Superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement (depending on your plan’s out-of-network benefits).
• If you have any questions about how this affects your upcoming appointments, feel free to reach out.
