Barnes & Noble 50% off sale? Yeah, we went to that, and now we have way too many books! We also unwinded with a (non-alcoholic) wine tasting. A furry puppy friend came to visit and cheer us up too! First off, a massive thank you to Jennifer (Jen)! She has been a crucial part of the team for years at Stephanie Gardens. When you ask anyone about her, they will tell you she is a vibrant and kind individual who spreads joy in every room she walks in. Wherever the road forward takes you, we know you will brighten that path up!

This week has been lots of fun! Today is the first day of spring and new seeds are sprouting. The sun is welcoming us back into the community and the garden awaits us! We also have our friendly sock monkey mascot ā€œMonkey Dewā€ who has come to MC to spread some cheer as well. We are so excited for the rest of the year!

What better than sweet treats to celebrate Caregiver Appreciation Day. Our caregivers are vital members of our team and show up for our residents in such meaningful ways every single day. It takes a lot of heart and hard work to take on such an important role- So we made sure to give them some quality fuel to keep it up! Donuts, coffee, energy drinks, and for both care staff and our residents we enjoyed Italian sodas together.

The most huge thank you to our caregivers! You make such a difference in the lives of our seniors and you should be so proud of yourself and your contributions!

Happy National Pig Day! The Northwest Miniature Pig Association brought Lucky Lucas for a visit. Oinks and laughter filled the courtyard, and we were shown how intelligent pigs are! Ball rolls, recognizing which of his toys were which, honking his horn, spinning and sitting- This pretty piggie can do it all!
