At Calcagno Pediatrics, the health and well-being of our patients, their families and our staff is our highest priority. We are here for you and will continue to be through-out this difficult time. We continue to monitor the updates from the Centers for Disease Control and are putting into practice some of their suggestions to create a safer environment for all of our patients, while continuing to offer compassionate and convenient care.
We offer telemedicine (virtual visits) for those patients who may not need an in-office visit. Please call our office to discuss this type of visit with our receptionist or medical staff. If your child is experiencing anxiety, uncertainty or fear during this difficult time, please call our office. We CAN help!
Same day visits are still available for sick patients in the afternoons. You will be placed in an exam room right away to limit your exposure to others. Well-child visits (or non-sick appointments) will be reserved for the mornings only.
For ALL office visits, we ask that no more than 2 other people arrive with each patient. This helps control how many people are in our clinic at one time. Please consider not bringing elderly or vulnerable people with you. We also ask that you please refrain from bringing food or drinks into our office, as well as additional toys, books, or other items. Please make every effort to keep your personal items, cell phones, keys, etc. in your pockets or bags and do not place them on our check-in counters, patient room counters, chairs, tables, and other surfaces other than the floor.
Please note, we will close our clinic at 5:00 PM in order to allow our staff to take care of their own families at home.
We appreciate your patience during this challenging time for our community, and we thank you for your continued support as you entrust your family’s care to us.
