We had a wonderful lunch at The Cazadero Grill in Estacada, enjoying delicious meals with breathtaking views of the Clackamas River. This local favorite combines great food with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing outing!

Afterward, we took some time to soak in the charming sights of Estacada, a lovely community with plenty of natural beauty and friendly faces.

Mary - In Her Own Words: I was born in Portland, Oregon and grew up on the other side of Gresham. My mother had nine children (seven boys and two girls). I was number six. I married at 16. I had two girls. My husband was from Tennessee. I wanted to have a boy to carry on with the family name, so I convinced him to have another baby. We had twin girls! I was a school bus driver for 14 years for Barlow and Orient. Growing up with brothers, I was a deer hunter, and I worked on cars. I worked on model A cars with my husband, and I belong to a Model A club. I enjoy knitting and my family.

I was born in Ventura, California, and then I moved to Hawaii in 1983, where I owned my own cleaning business. I have one daughter and two sons, and three granddaughters. I have been in the healthcare industry for over 25 years in different capacities. My love is working with seniors. My pastime is being with my family or working on my house.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Farmington Square Gresham for our Trunk or Treat—especially for your flexibility as we shifted our celebration indoors due to the weather! We loved seeing so many friendly faces, with over 100 guests, including residents, staff, families, and friends coming together for some spooky, candy-filled Halloween fun.

We’re excited to share an album of photos featuring all the amazing costumes and smiles from our Gresham assisted living and memory care community.
