This was today’s lunch at Adara Oaks. Korean BBQ ribs, corn bread with cinnamon butter, beans, and seared cabbage salad with gochujang (Korean seasoning). Nice work Adara staff!

If you’re not a resident of Adara Oaks then you unfortunately missed tonight’s dinner. Our head chef Jacob Haws served up Loco Moco, a Hawaiian dish that is basically a hamburger patty ontop of mashed potatoes, with mushroom gravy, a sunny side egg on top, with green onions as garnish. The salad consisted of spinach, kale, lettuce, parsley, peaches, cucumber, tomatoes from Adara’s garden, and all tossed with a peach vinaigrette. Even our most picky residents came for seconds!

Introducing Adara Oaks head Chef Jacob Haws (on the right). Jacob recently came to us from Silicon Valley where he was a lead cook for a little company called Apple (the company that most likely makes your phone). Jacob is not only a great cook, he’s great guy and our residents and coworkers are lucky to have him!
