Keep your kids safe from orthopedic injuries this Halloween with these simple tips:

-Always supervise pumpkin carving, especially with young children, to prevent cuts from sharp tools.
-Stick to sidewalks and avoid cutting across yards or driveways to reduce the risk of trips and falls.
-Follow all traffic signals and use designated crosswalks when crossing streets.
-Make sure costumes fit well and don’t obstruct vision with masks, face paint, or hats.
-Trim or hem costumes that are too long to prevent tripping hazards.
