It is with heartfelt sympathy and deep reverence that we announce the passing of Mother Annie Bankston.

Mother Bankston was a woman of grace, strength, and unwavering faith. Her life was a shining example of love, kindness, and devotion… not only to her family, but to everyone blessed to know her. She carried a spirit that uplifted others, and her presence brought comfort, wisdom, and peace into every room she entered.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that her legacy of love and her beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the lives she touched. May the memories she leaves behind bring comfort, and may the peace of God surround her family during this time.

It is with heartfelt sympathy and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Ernest Wimbush, Jr.

Mr. Wimbush was more than a driver, he was a familiar face, a steady presence, and a trusted guardian to generations of students throughout the Griffin-Spalding County School System. For 50 years, he faithfully drove his route with care, commitment, and compassion, safely carrying countless children to and from their destinations. His dedication left a lasting impact on families and the entire community.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Wimbush family and all who were blessed to know him. During this time of sorrow, we pray that God grants you strength, comfort, and peace. May the legacy of his service and the memories he created continue to ride on in the hearts of all whose lives he touched.
