Fun Friday 12/19/25: Our Community Outreach and Marketing Teams have been busy out and about in the communities we serve!

We loved Christmas crafting with our friends at Logan Senior Village and Spalding County Senior Center! We had a blast playing Christmas BINGO with the fun members of Hidden Valley Senior Activity Center and participating in the "Miracle on Main" event with Main Street Fayetteville, GA.

We dropped off our Angel Tree gifts at Spalding County Sheriff's Office and and sponsored the Christmas lane 5k in Thomaston.

As always, it was a great week at Brightmoor!

Thankful Thursday 12/18/2025: Each Thursday we like to highlight a member of our staff that has gone above and beyond in some special way.

I'd like to recognize a very special Nurse / person... Mrs. Sabrina Walden, RN CM. We have a patient by the name of Regina who is cared for 24/7 by her older sister, Jackie. Jackie doesn't leave the house, has groceries & other supplies delivered by Kroger and Amazon. Occasionally they have a family member or friend to stop in.

Jackie frequently says how she wishes she had more time to fix things up around the house. For the last couple of weeks Sabrina has spent her time at Mrs. Regina Walker's house helping Jackie clean, she bought paint & has painted the front rooms, set up a Christmas tree for them in preparation for the Holidays. Today was Reggie's birthday so Sabrina planned a small surprise party 🥳

I have been blessed for many years to work with some of the kindest and most caring people... Sabrina has shown SO much Love, care & compassion. She is TRULY one of the BEST!

Fun Friday 12/12/25: Our Community Outreach and Marketing Teams have been busy out and about in the communities we serve!

We had so much fun participating in the Enjoy Senoia, Georgia Christmas Parade and Christmas Festivities in Griffin. We loved hearing Lance singing at Griffin Manor Personal Care.

We had a blast bowling with Reliable Health and Rehab and attending The Community Garden Senior Luncheon with Henry County Government!

As always it was a great week at Brightmoor!

“I am honored to recognize Vilma Smith, one of our dedicated CNAs, for her extraordinary compassion and commitment to her patient. For months, Vilma has quietly gone above and beyond—buying her patient food every day, bringing groceries, and even preparing meals to ensure she was never without care or comfort. When she learned that the patient was often left home alone, Vilma didn’t hesitate to step in. She made sure the patient felt supported, nourished, and valued, showing a level of kindness that stretches far beyond her CNA duties.

Vilma’s actions remind us that true care isn’t just about completing tasks, but about offering humanity, dignity, and love along the way. Her selfless dedication is a powerful example of what it means to be a CNA who serves with heart, and we are incredibly grateful for the difference she makes in the lives of those we care for.
