Fun Friday 4/3/26: Our Community Outreach and Marketing Teams have been busy out and about in the communities we serve!

Spring was in the air at the City of Lovejoy, GA Spring Fest!

We celebrated Doctor's day with our friends at Southern Regional Medical Center and National Crossword Day with Reliable Health and Rehabilitation.

We crafted with the lovely members of the Pike County Senior Center and Somerby Peachtree City Senior Living and our staff shared the love at 's Glen Memory Care Community and Arrowhead Health and Rehab!

As always, it was a great week at Brightmoor!

Thankful Thursday 4/2/2026: Each Thursday we like to highlight a member of our staff that has gone above and beyond in some special way.

This week's submission comes from Community Relations Coordinator, Christina Thompson:

“Jessica Harmon helped to make sure our patient and his wife made it to the Conyers Caregiver Luncheon. They got lost and called her- she went and found them and brought them to the unit. Once she got them seated, she fixed their plates/drinks. Took the wife to the restroom so she could take her medicine, sat with them the entire time, and always made sure they had what they needed. You could see the bond they all share just by watching. This is what Brightmoor stands for, and I truly believe that Jessica loves what she does."

Brightmoor Hospice is a proud partner of Second Wind Dreams featuring the Virtual Dementia Tour. This partnership allows us to provide inspiring moments and dream experiences for elders in the communities we serve.
Last week we were privileged to fulfill the dream of Mr. Peyton from the The Oaks by Windham. He always wanted to ride in a helicopter, and we were so excited to make it happen for him with the help of Fly Heli Atlanta!

Fun Friday 3/27/26: Our Community Outreach and Marketing Teams have been busy out and about in the communities we serve!

We had a great weekend at the The Joseph Sams School "Race for a Reason" and the "Dawg Dash" at University of Georgia Griffin Campus.

We loved sponsoring the "Dud Hits Like A Lady" hole at the Thomaston-Upson Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament and had a great time hosting the Virtual Dementia Tour for the latest recruiting class at Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services. We also held a Dementia inservice for the staff at Oaks at Eagles Landing.

We exercised with our friends at Governor's Glen Memory Care Community and had so much fun at the ribbon cutting for Bey & Associates. We always have a great time at the Fairburn Heights Skilled Nursing Birthday Bash and BINGO at Reliable Health and Rehab.

As always, it was a great week at Brightmoor!
