I don't know if you paid attention last week to the announcement by the US Department of Health and Human Services and the USDA about the new, updated Food Pyramid. I, for one, am excited about this change. One of my rules of healthy eating is, "If you can't read it, don't eat it," referring to the ingredients. Highly processed foods contain lots of chemical ingredients, but REAL foods are so much more nutritious for our bodies!
