We are so excited to announce that we are opening a new office in Urbandale, come January 2026. Telehealth appointments are available immediately, and can transition to in-person once our offices are ready to go.

Don’t worry, our Grinnell and Marshalltown offices are staying….well, sort of. 😜 Keep your eyes peeled for some exciting announcements about our current locations, as well.

Today is International Survivors of Su***de Loss Day

Su***de loss is complex, often complicated, and co-exists with a lot of stigma. Offering genuine and informed support to the survivors of su***de loss is such an important skill to have because su***de affects so many. For survivors, we see you and support you.

Here are a few ideas on how to support your loved one while they grieve and mourn their loss (which never truly ends, it just changes over time).

November is Native American Heritage Month

Though November is such, we should constantly be honoring the rich traditions, stories, and resilience of those who are native to this land. Uplifting and listening to Indigenous voices, stories, and dark history, while learning ways to advocate for their liberation are a large part of this month’s celebration.

Education is important, action is even moreso. Plan a garden for next spring (paying attention to corns, beans, squash) or learn about the Indigenous peoples who occupied the land you currently live on. Find ways to support them directly. Learn about what laws are negatively affecting the Native community and use your vote and energy to fight for what’s right.
