Bodie and Ellen have officially passed their Therapy Dog certification with The Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc.! 🎉
Bodie was previously certified through Therapy Dogs International, and after that organization disbanded, they found their new home with Bright & Beautiful.
A big thank‑you to Who's Leading Who in Grinnell for the excellent training and testing support.

A resistance‑band activity for seniors involves using light, stretchy bands to gently strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and support joint health. The exercises are low‑impact and can be done seated or standing, making them safe and accessible. Movements like bicep curls, seated leg presses, or gentle rows help maintain the strength needed for daily activities while keeping the workout comfortable and adaptable for all fitness levels. No partner is needed, and no prior dance experience is required. Line dancing is a wonderful way to improve balance, coordination, memory, and cardiovascular health, all while enjoying a warm, social, and supportive atmosphere.
