Where do I feel safe enough to be my best calm self?

It’s a question to be looked at and addressed. 2020 and 2021 have been filled with highly stressful situations. Even on the verge of overwhelm; both globally and within our community. I haven’t even addressed the season we’re in. It’s bound to wreck havoc with our personal world.

How are you coping? How are you keeping balance? What do you do to shut-out/off the noise we’re bombarded with daily?

I’m an esthetician. I became an esthetician as a result of receiving facials. I loved, not only the results to my skin, but how i felt after a facial massage. My mind was blank, I was at peace, my neck and jaw were pain-free. My scalp not tight. I felt rested, beautiful and safe.

I wanted to share this with people. It’s my intention, especially in these days, to offer that to you. 🙏🏼

I’m late for Father’s Day because this year was hard.
My step-father passed in 2006. He was quite the man. Charismatic, bigger than life, loved to laugh, an exquisite dancer and loved to be on the water and fish.
My mom, pretty much raised me on her own after my parents divorced. She was a woman ahead of her time. Strong, independent, left her family base in Idaho to start a new life in the big city of Detroit all on her own. She was a powerhouse! There wasn’t much she couldn’t figure out. Even now, at 85 years of age, she wants to repair the vacuum so I let her. 🤷🏻‍♀️
My husband, Gary was the epitome of dads. He was the perfect partner to raise a child with severe asthma and was the rock to my sometimes nervous waters. He made us laugh in his subtle, quirky, teasing ways. Gary passed all too soon and I know our daughter misses him daily, but he was the foundation she was built on and has become a strong young woman, who is in her own rights as funny, supportive and trustworthy.

This is for a special person who needs a little extra right now in her life. Being an esthetician is more then skin care and massage. Sometimes it’s listening and offering silence. I really love what I do. ♥️

My new order has arrived from
I love their Vitamin C+ Enhancement Serum cocktail, a blend of C, E Ferulic and Hyaluronic Acid.
Then there’s Pure Hyaluronic Acid that’s such a pleasure to apply.
Wrapping up the order with a new “try me out” of their Hydrating Mist with chamomile and lavender. I think I’m going to personally enjoy testing this one.

While I’m elated that the mask mandate has been eased, I will continue to require masks to be worn within my studio during your visit. My goal has been and remains to keep each of my clients safe to the best of my ability.

I have been vaccinated and will continue to wear a double mask and thoroughly cleansing between clients.

My clients are an extension of my family and I will continue to protect my family. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions.
