Groton Regency was full of St. Patrick’s Day spirit yesterday! 💚
Residents enjoyed a lively scavenger hunt followed by a singalong Irish music party, complete with festive treats like green beer (NA), green Jello with clouds and a rainbow, green Kool Aid, and potato chips 🌈

A big kudos to Liz in Rec for going the extra mile to make March 17th so special for our residents. It was a day full of laughter, music, and a little extra luck 🍀

When Blizzard Calvin hit the East Coast, dropping more than two feet of snow, we saw what being a truly means. ❄️

In long-term care, this isn’t a 9 to 5. It is 24/7, 365 days a year, and our staff are always there. They come in before the storm begins and stay through it, not leaving until it is safe for others to return. They do it because our residents come first. “CAREVENGER” is a word we created by blending Care + Avenger. Care meaning healthcare and caregiving, and Avenger meaning someone who rises to the occasion and steps up when needed most.💙

Frank the Piano Man has begun sharing his special musical joy with our Memory Care residents at Groton Regency, filling the room with familiar tunes and beautiful moments every Monday and Thursday.

There is something powerful about music. A melody can spark a memory, bring a smile, or get a foot tapping before you even realize it. Watching residents light up when they hear a song they recognize is truly something special.
