As I am sitting here getting my chemo treatment, housekeeping comes through and she is singing and humming some old Motown. I thanked her for that. I instantly had a flashback of being a child and mom and dad pulling out their vinyl records. Putting one on that massive wood tv, radio, record player entertainment center that they were so proud of. And the two of them dancing in the living room. I was supposed to be in bed but snuck out to sit on the steps to listen and watch them dance.

I had a great phone call this morning from genetics. I am not a breast cancer carrier or a cancer carrier for the 47 genes that they tested💗
