Lauren's father, Steve, was diagnosed with lung cancer last year. Under the expert care of Dr. Weksler, Steve had surgery to remove the cancer and part of his right lung. Community members had the opportunity to tour our newly expanded Cancer Institute last week. Grove City College women's volleyball coach Leo Sayles, who was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma, presented a generous donation from his team's Coaches vs. Cancer benefit game. The proceeds will support comfort services for our patients, from gift cards for gas and food to blankets and toiletries. We extend our gratitude to Leo and his entire team. 🤝 💚 🏐

Monica’s knee pain made it hard to walk, and she wanted her life back. This year, Dr. Slipak replaced both of Monica’s knees and she’s now running after her grandkids.

Monica walked, unassisted, into her first surgical follow-up, just two weeks after her second knee replacement. She also conquered the stationary bike and a flight of steps at her second physical therapy session.

As a self-proclaimed “dirt hunter,” Monica proudly told the physical therapist that she’s already running the carpet cleaner.
