Hello Friends! On Saturday, April 9th, we will be having Hopefield's annual Sensory Friendly Easter Event! It will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 210 S. Broad Street, Grove City, PA from 9 am - 3 pm.
We will have Easter crafts to make, an Easter egg scavenger hunt with Draven the Therapy Cat and story time with Izzy and Elsa, the therapy dogs. Each family signs up for a time slot and will move through each of the 3 stations for a total of 45 minutes of Easter fun! Reservations are required in order to keep the event sensory friendly.
We currently have time slots available in the morning and afternoon, but they fill up pretty quickly. This program is for children with sensory processing difficulties, disabilities or other special needs. We invite siblings to participate so they can enjoy the festivities together as a family.
If you would like more information, or you want to sign your child/children up, please email Gail Donaldson at hopefieldchildrenscomplex@gmail.com. We will need your children's names, ages, allergies (for treats) and any other information that you feel would help us make the experience as enjoyable for them as possible. We will also need your best contact information, including a phone number where you can be reached.
Hope to see you there!
Gail
