Jen came to us from one of our sister bases AEL 29 to finish her preceptorship with our flight nurse/paramedic Kallise Seay. Jen has been a joy to have and will be missed at 165. Suzie was a pillar of the EMS and healthcare community who saved countless lives through her compassionate care and steadfast commitment to others. Her career spanned more than five decades, including nearly 21 years with REACH. We will remember her for the light she brought to every call, every shift, and every patient she blessed with her care.”

🚁🚑We had a wonderful day alongside Air Evac Lifeteam 29 - Claremore, OK at MESTA Mayes Emergency Service Trust Authority for a Traumatic Arrest, Hemorrhagic Shock & Blood Administration Lunch & Learn. We had a great group of providers who were actively engaged and eager to dive in & discuss these topics.
Back by popular demand we did simulated needle decompressions with ribs & balloons and then utilized a set of hog lungs to simulate a pneumothorax. Thank you so much MESTA for asking us to come out! 🚑🚁

🩺🚁Several of our crew members completing our quarterly grand rounds earlier this week with AEL family from across the entire state of OK with our education team and medical director! This quarters agenda included SALAD, Finger thoracostomy & resuscitation in adult & pediatric trauma! Keeping up to date with best practices, practicing skills and enjoying fellowship with our AEL family who are all dedicated to excellence!🎖️
